MEDIA ALERT: TRAFFIC ADVISORY MIDTOWN TAMPA
For Immediate Release: Midtown Tampa Traffic Advisory + Alternate Routes
Midtown Tampa would like to alert visitors to the center of several construction projects that will impact regular traffic patterns in and around the center from July 29th, 2024 to September 18th, 2024.
WATERVIEW GARAGE EXPANSION
Fireproofing work from August 5th to September 18th. Sections will close in phases, but vehicles can move through with flagger guidance.
Crane dismantling: August 9th-11th, 2024. Arch Street and Clearview Avenue will be inaccessible from Himes Avenue and Midtown Tampa on August 10th and the morning of August 11th.
MIDTOWN EAST CRANE DISMANTLING
Westbound entrance from Himes Avenue closed on August 1st, 2024.
The Himes Avenue and Gramercy Lane entrance will be closed with Midtown Drive north of the Aloft/Element Hotel from August 2nd-August 4th, 2024.
All lanes are expected to reopen by mid-day on August 4th, 2024.
MIDTOWN DRIVE GARAGE
Whole Foods Market’s 2nd floor covered parking will be closed July 29th-August 5th for scheduled maintenance.
