Exclusive: Midtown Tampa signs office lease with architecture firm

The developer of Midtown Tampa has signed an office lease with an architecture firm that will move to the development from Harbour Island.

Nashville-based Gresham Smith will lease 18,000 square feet on the third floor at The Loft at Midtown, the development’s boutique office building. Between the lease with Gresham Smith and another pending deal, The Loft is fully leased, said Nicholas Haines, CEO of Bromley Cos., the New York-based master developer of Midtown.

The $500 million, mixed-use Midtown Tampa spans 22 acres at the intersection of Interstate 275 and North Dale Mabry Highway. It includes apartments, a dual-flag hotel, office space, and retailers and restaurants — among them the region’s first REI Coop and Shake Shack.
