“Our philosophy has always been to create a level of inclusiveness that has never been seen in Tampa,” Wilson said. “Our group of owners all come from different walks of life, races and orientations, and we have different views on food. That is reflected in the guests that come through our space, and now we want to create a space at Midtown for people of all walks of life.”

The Midtown project is designed and developed by Bromley Companies, and has already attracted some of the area’s most exciting shops and restaurants.

“The Hall at Midtown, with Jamal’s plans to bring together top culinary experts under one roof, will add tremendous diversity to Midtown’s foodie-centric offerings,” said Nicholas Haines, CEO, Bromley Companies. “We see The Hall serving as a social hub within Midtown, perfect for casual dinners and lively happy hour gatherings.”

The Hall at Midtown will join an already extensive lineup of food and drink options planned for Midtown Tampa, many of which are original concepts or new to Tampa.

Situated at the end of Midtown Drive below The Loft, Midtown’s boutique office facing Midtown Commons and visible from the Himes Avenue entrance, the Hall at Midtown will provide an unparalleled onsite amenity for tenants of the project’s first two office buildings, The Loft and Midtown One. With all-day service, The Hall will serve as a one-stop-shop for breakfast, bringing clients for lunch or dinner, and meeting up with friends and coworkers for after-hour drinks.

The Hall at Midtown will feature a collective of individual dining concepts into one collaborative, multicultural environment. Each eatery within the food hall will offer a curated menu of items that can be mixed and matched to suit any craving. Concepts will be announced closer to opening, which is on track for early 2021.

So far, Midtown has announced a new restaurant by chef Chris Ponte, who is a local favorite, as well as Shake Shack, BellaBrava New World Trattoria, Burtons Grill & Bar, True Food Kitchen and Joffrey’s Coffee Tea Café.

Wilson added, “Midtown is creating a special community and center of excitement that will draw in people from across the region. This is just the kind of vision we want to join and help build together as The Hall brand evolves.”

Upon completion, Midtown Tampa will feature over 750,000-square-feet of Class A office space, a 390-unit luxury apartment community and over 200,000 square feet of retail, including the region’s largest Whole Foods Market.
